Rittal AP Universal Consoles

The Rittal AP universal console features a uni-body construction with an integrated 25mm interior hole pattern for easy component installation. Available with or without an optional desk unit, it also features a full-sized mounting panel.

Material:
Sheet steel Enclosure, gland plates: 1.5 mm (16 ga); doors: 2.0 mm (14 ga)
Mounting panel: 3.0 mm (11 ga)
Design strips (AP 2695.500): Aluminum section

Finish:
Enclosure: Dipcoat-primed, powder-coated on the outside
Mounting panel and gland plates: Zinc-plated

Color:
Enclosure: textured RAL 7035 (light gray).
Design strips (AP 2695.500): RAL 5018 (turquoise blue)

Protection ratings:
IP 55 to EN 60 529/10.91, NEMA Type 12. With a short door at the bottom (AP 2694.500), in order to maintain the protection category, a drawer or desk section (see pages 1052/1039 in Handbook 31) must be installed.

Enclosure with doors, mounting panel, gland plates, design strips (AP 2695.500)

Note:
Top door with studs left and right for installing vertical perforated mounting strips SZ 2310.038 and horizontal support strips SZ 2325.000 to be mounted on top (see page 896/895 in Handbook 31). AP universal consoles are based on the freestanding enclosure ES 5000; therefore, a variety of accessory components can be installed.
