The
WORLD-BEAM Banner Q12FF background suppression sensors
are ready to use "right out of the box". Users can
select from preprogrammed models for 15 mm (0.6"), 30 mm
(1.2") or 50 mm (2") fixed-field sensing ranges where
the sensors will only detect objects within their preset
sensing range and ignore all others outside the range
regardless of the object's surface reflectivity. And,
because the Q12FF sensors do not contain any
adjustment push buttons, DIP switches or knobs, they are
less at risk for any tampering or altering. Users simply
mount the sensor so that the target will pass within the
predefined sensing range and they are ready to begin
operating. Also, especially significant is the
Q12FF's highly competitive $70.00 price!
The Q12FF models features include 10 to 30V dc
supply voltage, solid-state bipolar outputs, Light
Operate or Dark Operate mode depending on model and a
compact fully-sealed 8 mm (0.31") WORLD-BEAM housing
that offers convenient mounting via its side-mounting
holes. A visible red spot generated by the sensor's high
power output LED makes target positioning quick and easy
by providing a visual confirmation of the exact target
point to be sensed. These robust little sensors also
feature excellent optics for less color sensitivity,
crosstalk-avoidance circuitry for multiple-sensor
applications and a LED status indicator for power on,
output overload, signal received and marginal signal.
Sensor models are available with 4-wire, 2m (6.5') or 9m
(30') cable or 150mm (6") pigtail with Pico-style M8
threaded connector. |
