TURCK capacitive proximity sensors can sense targets where a standard inductive proximity or photoelectric won’t work. They feature non-contact sensing of wood, glass, cardboard, plastics, concrete block, glue, thin wires, silicon wafers, liquid levels through a sight glass and other nonmetal material.
Turck Inductive sensors serve for wear free and non contact detection of metal objects. They operate with a high frequency electromagnetic AC field which interacts with the target. With conventional sensors, this field is generated by a LC resonance circuit with a ferrite core coil.
