The QS18LD sensor is a visible Class 1 laser sensor for diffuse sensing. The QS18LD has a narrow effective beam for small object detection and precise position control. The sensor has an approximately 1mm spot at a 12-inch range. The sensor operates on 10 to 30V dc, and has complementary NPN or PNP outputs, depending on the model selected. The sensor is available either hard-wired or in a number of quick-disconnect configurations.
