Banner MICRO-SCREEN is suitable for most industrial applications, and takes up very little space. The tiny rectangular emitters and receivers measure only 32 x 25 mm (1/4"x 1"), and can be integrated perfectly into your products without being obtrusive.
Rugged emitters and receivers are available to provide light screens from 102 to 1219 mm (4" to 48") in 102 mm (4") increments, plus 1422, 1626 and 1829 mm (56", 64" and 72") screens. They are rated NEMA 4, 13 and IEC IP65. Despite their small size, they are powerful enough to guard wide openings or for perimeter guarding applications using corner mirrors.
Choose a full-size black metal enclosure, or a compact 35 mm DIN-rail-mountable enclosure that features unique, labor-saving snap-out wiring terminals. The DeviceNet™ fieldbus is available for MICRO-SCREEN, which allows the system to be integrated directly into a new or existing DeviceNet network, for non-safety monitoring of system status.
When any of the light beams are broken, the MICRO-SCREEN System takes less than 38 milliseconds to send a “STOP” signal to the guarded machine.
